Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment process flow transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team work to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that equipment tools and machine tools are in good condition for use. Proposing plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
- Exchanging data and information interaction concerns and also improvements in products processes and procedures.
- Handling standardized manufacturing processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Some latitude in ways of working and planning.
- Coordinating and verifying the work of external contractors.
- Analyzing and diagnosing cause of malfunctions failures and repetitive manufacturing problems and recommend and implement proper corrective actions.
- Liaising with production and all functions colleagues dealing with emergencies unplanned problems and repairs.
- Reading equipment manuals and understand technical drawings such as P&ID hydraulic schematics electrical wiring diagrams to quickly identify and find solutions for faults.
- Understanding PLCs and ISO language programs automation system CNC.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be time served in Mechatronics Electronics or Electrical Engineering or have an equivalent high school / college diploma.
- Have proven experience in a similar role
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Be able to work independently.
- Have good problem-solving skills.
- Be willing to work shifts Day Shift Evening Shift and Nightshift.
