Location: Genesee County MIJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (810 hour shifts)Pay: $20-$34/hour based on experienceOvertime: Paid after 40 hours. Occasional Saturdays based on workload (not frequent)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with hands-on experience in Lathe/Turn machining. This role requires someone who is knowledgeable in CNC Lathe/Turn programming machine setup and operation. This is a full-time opportunity with steady hours and potential for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Operate and program CNC Lathe/Turn machines
Set up machines tooling and fixtures for efficient production
Interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications
Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality
Make necessary adjustments to maintain part tolerances
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications
Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Strong knowledge and experience with CNC Lathe/Turn programming
Familiarity with a variety of CNC lathe machines and manufacturing setups
Understanding of machining processes tooling and G/M code programming
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
Dependable punctual and able to work full-time with occasional overtime
