We are hiring for our client a well-established and respected supplier/distributor to the retail and catering industry who are seeking to appoint a Facilities Technician to join their team in Crumlin. This is a key role for an experienced and hands-on engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
The successful Facilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of the organisations facilities infrastructure working across both mechanical and electrical systems. The Role:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all site facilities covering both mechanical and electrical systems
Support the safe operation and continuous improvement of all building services
Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
Assist with external contractor coordination and supervision
Contribute to improvement projects across the site infrastructure
The Person:
A third level qualification in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical
Previous experience in a facilities technician or maintenance engineering role
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial or distribution environment
Proactive and solution-focused mindset with excellent troubleshooting abilities
Health and safety awareness and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
