Production & Inventory Control Manager
Responsibilities:
*Lead the development and implementation of production schedules to meet customer demand and align with company objectives.
*Coordinate with manufacturing procurement and logistics teams to ensure on-time production and delivery.
*Monitor production workflow to identify bottlenecks and recommend operational improvements.
*Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking raw materials work-in-progress and finished goods.
*Implement inventory control strategies to reduce waste excess stock and material shortages.
*Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
*Analyze production and inventory data to improve forecasting accuracy.
*Generate reports on inventory turnover stock levels and on-time production performance.
*Identify operational trends and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance.
*Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
*Collaborate with procurement to evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
*Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce overall costs.
*Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards throughout production and inventory operations.
*Implement best practices in production planning and inventory control.
*Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to improve inventory accuracy customer on-time performance and production efficiency.
Requirements:
*Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Operations Management or related field.
*5 years of experience in production planning inventory control or supply chain management.
*Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. EPICOR M3 SAP Oracle).
*Proficiency in inventory management techniques such as Just-in-Time (JIT) and ABC analysis.
*Excellent problem-solving organizational and leadership skills.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
*Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
