Lead and support a range of IT security projects ensuring secure and timely delivery
Manage and maintain cybersecurity tools for both on-prem and cloud environments (cloud being a key focus)
Implement configure and update security solutions including EDR SIEM vulnerability management IAM and cloud security tools
Collaborate with internal IT development and third-party teams to embed security across all operations
Conduct risk assessments vulnerability scans and OSINT investigations
Monitor emerging threats zero-day vulnerabilities and new CVEs assessing their potential impact
Investigate and respond to security incidents performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements
Deliver engaging security awareness training across the business
Provide security guidance for new technologies and strategic initiatives
Support day-to-day security operations and enforce strong change control processes
Assist with SOC alerts investigations and escalations
Proven experience in a Cyber Security Engineer or similar technical security role
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and application security principles
Practical experience with security tools and platforms both on-prem and cloud-based
Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001 NIST CIS)
Experience in risk assessment vulnerability management and incident response
Hands-on experience configuring and managing cloud security tools and IAM solutions
Knowledge of EDR platforms and vulnerability management processes
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security CISSP CEH Azure Security Engineer) desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for non-technical audiences
Proactive detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
