Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager to take ownership of one of our key logistics contracts. This role is perfect for an operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments has strong commercial awareness and is confident managing large-scale warehouse and logistics operations.
You will be responsible for delivering a high-performing 3PL operation managing customer expectations and driving continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of operational oversight commercial management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day 3PL warehouse operations including receiving putaway picking outbound VAS and container processing.
- Manage import/export processes and subcontractor relationships including sourcing new logistics partners.
- Lead coach and develop a team of supervisors and warehouse operatives to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor KPIs daily P&L and ensure cost performance aligns with budget expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and service delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular reviews and communication.
- Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations SOPs and health & safety standards.
What Were Looking For
- Proven leadership in a senior operations role within 3PL FMCG or large-scale warehousing.
- Strong commercial acumen including experience managing budgets daily P&L and vendor contracts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Background in high bay high throughput operations with exposure to MHE (VNA FLT PPT).
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Kaizen Six Sigma).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and risk management.

- 5 years experience managing warehouse and logistics contracts.
- Hands-on operational leader who can inspire teams and deliver results.
- Confident managing subcontractor performance and logistics partnerships.
- Experience in both strategic contract management and day-to-day operational delivery.
