This role blends advanced full-stack development with systems reliability practices giving you end-to-end ownership from architecture to code deployment observability and mentoring.

Job Responsibilities

Software Development

  • Design develop and maintain full-stack web solutions including front-end (Angular) back-end (Java/Spring Boot microservices) and databases (Postgres Oracle SQL).
  • Extend and optimize data storage mechanisms across relational and non-relational stores.
  • Independently design and implement a complete software stack that meets business and customer needs.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams break down features into stories and write clear documentation.
  • Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with enterprise security standards.

Automation & Performance Testing (SDET Focus)

  • Lead the design implementation and maintenance oftest automation frameworksand reusable components.
  • Translatebusiness and functional requirementsinto test strategies and concrete deliverables.
  • Develophigh-quality maintainable and performant codefor automated test cases.
  • Drive anautomation-first strategyto minimize manual testing.
  • Implement and executeperformance load and scalability testingfor distributed systems.
  • Providemetrics and reportingon test execution coverage and software quality using tools such as SonarQube.
  • Consult and mentor peers on best practices for test design automation and performance validation.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in development and test automation best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects SREs and cross-functional teams to design technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the Test Community of Practice to evolve testing strategies and tooling.
  • Advocate for continuous testing performance improvements and technical innovation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for full-stack development automation and DevOps practices.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools especially Jaspersoft.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as aSenior SDET or Senior Software Engineerwith a strong testing focus.
  • Hands-on expertise intest automation frameworks(Selenium JUnit TestNG or equivalent).
  • Experience withperformance/load testingtools (e.g. JMeter Gatling).
  • Strong background infull-stack engineering(Angular Java/Spring Boot SQL/Postgres/Oracle).
  • Knowledge ofcloud-native architectureand containerization (Kubernetes Docker).
  • Familiarity withCI/CD pipelinesand test integration (Jenkins GitLab).

    Base Pay Range: $113600 - $205000

    Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
