KEY Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service be courteous friendly and always ready to help.

4. Customer Resource Demonstrate knowledge of Garden Center products and services and customer needs.
Major Job Duties:
Process Orders Manages day to day transactions of customers on point of sales phones and other systems.
Assist with stocking merchandising watering pruning/trimming deadheading and displaying to an irresistible level in designated areas as assigned to maximize sales potential.
Provide seamless customer service including events/festivals/workshops additionally assisting with plant care including recommendations for proper potting soil containers and fertilizer and pest control.
Carry out daily routines and tasks according to the daily check list and other tasks projects or duties as assigned by the department manager(s).
Maintain a clean safe and orderly workspace for all customers and associates.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote and manage a safe work environment while following direction from the safety committee.
Provide assistance to other departments when asked or needed in tasks such as housekeeping stocking organization etc
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Must have good attention to detail
Must have excellent customer service & communication skills
Ability to implement change as needed with a can do attitude
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous sales or customer service experience a plus
Part-Time
