About the client:
Our client is a global consultancy delivering enterprise-grade database solutions across high-volume applications. This role supports Oracle database optimisation and development for a long-term project in Western Australia.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Application DBA / Oracle Developer to lead PL/SQL optimisation and database design efforts. Youll analyse existing procedures develop new database objects and ensure efficient query performance across large datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise PL/SQL and SQL scripts for performance and stability.
- Analyse and redesign existing packaged procedures.
- Develop new database objects aligned with application requirements.
- Apply plan stability techniques profiles and hints to tune queries.
- Troubleshoot application-specific database issues and ensure reliable performance.
Required Experience:
- Proven expertise in PL/SQL and SQL optimisation.
- Strong understanding of query tuning and plan stability.
- Experience designing and developing Oracle database objects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
Whats on offer
This is a 25-month contract role based in Perth WA commencing as soon as available. Youll work on high-impact database optimisation and development initiatives in a premium consulting environment.
