Were seeking a dependable and detail-driven Accounting Clerk to support our financial operations. This role focuses on reconciliations accounts receivable billing and managing the project lifecycle in Deltek (ERP). If youre organized proactive and take pride in delivering accurate work wed love to hear from you.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Reconciliation Accuracy: Perform monthly credit card and bank statement reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Process accounts receivable entries and assist with client billing ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
- Month-End Close: Prepare and process reconciliation entries to support a smooth and timely close.
- Vendor Invoice Management: Verify and enter vendor invoices ensuring timely payments and compliance with internal standards.
- Licensing & Certifications: Assist with filing and renewing professional engineering licenses and state certifications.
- Collaborative Team Support: Proactively assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience). 13 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Professionalism: A strong sense of accountability reliability and discretion in handling sensitive financial data.
- Tech Proficiency: Experience with Deltek or similar ERP/accounting systems plus solid skills in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and maintain composure under pressure.
- Deadline-Driven & Organized: Skilled at managing multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
- Clear Communication & Collaborative Mindset: You communicate with clarity and respect and work effectively across teams to support shared goals.
- Proactive Problem Solving: You approach challenges with resourcefulness and initiative identifying issues early and taking action to resolve them efficiently.
