Position Title: Facilities Custodian (Day Shift)

Location: Santa Ana CA
FLSA Status: Non-exempt Full- Time
Job Summary:
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and well-presented workplace during regular business hours. This role ensures that offices restrooms and shared spaces are properly cared for throughout the day supporting a welcoming and professional environment for employees and visitors. The position also includes monitoring supplies reporting facility issues and assisting with light setup and cleanup for events or meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of offices restrooms hallways breakrooms and other common areas.
Perform sweeping mopping vacuuming and floor care tasks.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal.
Clean and sanitize restrooms ensuring supplies are replenished.
Wipe down surfaces windows and fixtures to maintain a polished appearance.
Restock paper goods soap and other facility supplies as needed.
Monitor facility conditions and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
Safely handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Assist with occasional setup and breakdown for company meetings or events.
Assist with companywide tasks.
Qualifications:
Previous custodial janitorial or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment supplies and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs bend stand and walk for extended periods.
