Job Summary:
Join the SIS 2.0 team of Cat Digital and be responsible for performing front-end software development regular problem solving maintenance and support for this mission critical application.

The main tech stack needed is Azure Cloud HTML CSS and React.

What You Will Do:

• Designing modifying developing writing and implementing software programming applications for target system using agile methods.
• Writing source codes for new applications and/or generating and enhancing code for existing applications.
• Perform testing and maintenance using Caterpillars SIS (Service Information System) approved tools.

What You Will Have:

• Effective Communications: Extensive Knowledge of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Software Development: Extensive Experience with software development and ability to produce systems in line with product requirements using and React.
• Software Development Life Cycle: Working Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.
• Software Integration Engineering: Working Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.
  

Considerations for Top Candidates:

• Extensive hands-on experience writing code in distributed systems (Azure Cloud) (typically 5 years)
• Extensive hands-on experience writing quality and safe code in HTML CSS and React (typically 5 years)
• Extensive experience manually troubleshooting code and deploying code using Git Github actions and Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries and proven experience with MSQL.
• Proven experience in some of the following:
  • Working experience with React Native
  • Working experience with REDIS and Snowflake
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
• Passion for new technology
