Pratt and Whitney has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller with our Hot Section Modular Center (HSMC) - North team.
HSMC North operations are located in East Hartford Connecticut and West Palm Beach Florida; primarily supporting Combustor Augmenter and Nozzle operations.
This is an onsite position based out of our East Hartford Connecticut location.
What You Will Do:
This position requires onsite presence to enable daily cross-functional collaboration and partnership with Hot Section leadership team to drive optimal business outcome.
Core requirements include but not limited to:
Monthly forecast and closing execution for all critical financial shop metrics; delivered hours earned hours operating expense product cost spares delivery inventory and cost of poor quality (COPQ).
Drive execution to monthly requirements through active management of key metrics through weekly profit and delivery assurance reporting for HSMC North and all-encompassing Hot Section and Operations level reviews.
Partner with Module Center leadership team to drive successful operational business plan submissions for Long range planning (LRP) and Annual operating plan (AOP)
Conduct ongoing Make/Buy analysis to maximize shop load capacity in HSMC North through insourcing of new product.
Partner with Operations FP&A team and HSMC finance team supporting other shops (HSMC South Amercon ACT Asheville Auto Air Singapore Mikro and Advanced Casting Foundry) for optimal alignment and execution to financial plan.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and 10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR an Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels
- Organized with strong written and verbal communication.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Efficient in use of Office software (Teams Word Excel PowerPoint etc.); working knowledge of SAP and BW.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with government auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
