Salary:Competitive based on NHS Band 7 pay scale
Working Hours:0.8 WTE (30 hours per week)
Contract Length:2 months
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paediatric Dietitian to join an NHS Trust on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading London hospital providing specialist dietary support to paediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing ketogenic diets and be confident in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Provide expert nutritional assessment and management for paediatric patients including those on ketogenic diets.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress adjusting dietary plans as needed.
Educate patients families and staff on nutritional strategies and ketogenic protocols.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role you must have:
A recognised degree in Dietetics.
HCPC registration.
Proven experience in paediatric dietetics with specific expertise in ketogenic diet management.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
