Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to join our this role youll design implement and manage secure scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS Python Flask Terraform and AWS CDK. Youll automate deployment pipelines manage infrastructure-as-code and support services for defense and intelligence clients. Experience with Git Jenkins Bash or Shell scripting and cloud environments like AWS and Azure is required. This hands-on position is ideal for someone passionate about cloud-native architectures and security in a fast-paced collaborative setting.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy cloud solutions using AWS
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement infrastructure-as-code
- Support the management and monitoring of cloud resources
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues
- Contribute to documentation of cloud architectures and best practices
- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and trends
- Assist in ensuring compliance with security and operational standards
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of professional experience in cloud engineering DevOps or a related field
- Proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting
- Experience with Flask for backend development
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK
- Strong understanding of core AWS services including EC2 S3 IAM VPC CloudTrail Lambda and CloudWatch
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services (IAM Networking Security Groups)
- Experience working in Linux environments and using Linux commands
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker
- Understanding of networking concepts (e.g. subnets routing security groups)
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (preferably using Jenkins)
- Knowledge of web servers such as Apache HTTPD and Nginx is a plus
- Experience with ElasticSearch PostgreSQL and AWS RDS integration is desirable
- Familiarity with REST API integration and front-end technologies such as React/JavaScript is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
