About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Clinician to provide Psychoeducational support for clients in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role focuses on helping individuals with behavioral health challengesincluding substance abuse PTSD post-incarceration syndrome and co-occurring conditionsachieve lasting recovery and successful community re-entry.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate IOP group counseling sessions using structured curriculum
Conduct monthly individual sessions and manage treatment plans
Document progress and maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR)
Support members in setting recovery goals increasing independence and building community support networks
Collaborate with therapists families and the treatment team to ensure quality care
Assist with discharge planning and connecting members to resources
Maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards and KPIs
Qualifications
Meets Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) requirements:
Bachelors degree in behavioral health field (preferred) OR
Equivalent education/experience (see BHT pathways)
At least 1 year of behavioral health or group facilitation experience preferred
Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with EHR systems (KIPU or similar) and MS Office
CPR/First Aid & Crisis De-escalation certification required
Must be 21 with valid AZ drivers license (may be required)
Must pass background check drug/alcohol screening TB test and MVR (if applicable)
Work Environment
Outpatient clinical setting with group and individual facilitation
Occasional community-based activities and trainings
Requires speaking for extended periods documenting in EHR and occasional light lifting (up to 30 lbs)
