Job Summary

Head Coach Girls Lacrosse (Highland High School)

HighlandHigh School is seeking a passionate and committed individual to serve as the Head Coach for girls lacrosse. This position is essential to the continued growth and success of thegirls lacrosse program and plays a critical role in promoting athletic excellence personal development sportsmanship and school pride.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous high school lacrosse coaching experience is preferred but not required
Experience working with high school students in an athletic or mentorship capacity
Demonstrated ability to develop athletes at various skill levels
Strong organizational communication and leadership skills

Required Certifications/Trainings:

Please completeall trainings and requirements upon job offer and prior to coaching.

Aktivate Trainings completed through upon job offer
Coaching Endorsement (PE/Coaching Degree or NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching)
Current First Aid and CPR Certification
NFHS Concussion in Sport
NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest
NFHS Heat Illness Prevention
NFHS Bullying Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors
Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
Utah Educator Professional Standards (Read and E-sign)
SLCSD Vector Trainings (to be completed after hire and before beginning any coaching responsibilities)

Upon appointment SLCSD FERPA/Student Privacy trainings will also be required. For questions regarding certifications or trainings please contact the schools Athletic Director.
