Topper Industries is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator/Sales Representative to join our team in Woodland WA. This hybrid role combines technical estimating with relationship-based sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can analyze project specs build competitive proposals and work closely with both internal teams and external customers to ensure successful project execution.
Youll be a key player in identifying new opportunities shaping project scopes and helping our customers turn complex plans into real-world builds.
Identify and pursue new project opportunities across commercial industrial and marine markets
Analyze customer requirements drawings and bid documents to develop accurate cost estimates
Prepare detailed competitive proposals using proprietary pricing tools and internal guidelines
Collaborate with engineers project managers and fabrication teams to ensure alignment from bid through delivery
Serve as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders to keep communication clear and projects on track
Negotiate pricing scope and contract terms with professionalism and attention to detail
Maintain knowledge of industry trends materials and methods related to metal fabrication and floating structures
Support pre- and post-award activities including scope clarification budget adjustments and change order pricing
Bachelors or Associates degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Construction Management Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years of relevant experience in construction estimating sales or project management preferred
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and legal bid documents
Familiarity with structural aluminum and floating structure fabrication
Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Google Suite Microsoft Excel and project estimating tools
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Woodland WA
