Job Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor / Estimator with Christian Brothers Automotive you are the trusted professional our guests rely on for assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building lasting relationships as you are the face they see every time they invest in their vehicle.
Service Advisors guide our guests through the entire repair process keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet every guest that enters our facility with hospitality and respect
- Present the best solution to properly repair our guest vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand
- Ability to maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Flexible and able to adjust as daily needs evolve
- Manage the stores workflow in an effective and efficient manner
- Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardising honesty and integrity
- Reviews all digital vehicle inspections by technicians
- Maintains an organized and up-to-date repair log
- Answers customer inquiries and prepares estimates for our guests
- Present the best solution to properly repair our customers vehicles in a way that is easy for them to understand
- Ensure that all work is performed to proper specifications and within the time promised to the guest
- Build relationships with part supply vendors tool vendors and all external vendors effectively
- Prioritize technician workloads with part availability
- Prepares a list of needed service department equipment supplies and required repairs - reviews service department repairs with the Service Manager
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times
- Communicate on the phone in a clear professional manner
- Directs coordinates and participates in performing customer service activities
- Shuttle guest as needed in CBA-branded vehicle
- Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
- Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Current drivers licenses
- Knowledge of Tekmetrik
- Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier
- Proficiency in Windows based computer software and automotive store applications
- Experience in an Automotive Customer Service role or Automotive Service Write/Advisor/Sales role
Physical Requirements:
- Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday Friday 7am 6pm
- Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing walking coordinating parts etc.)
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
