Job Summary:
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue by actively selling the hotels services and facilities to prospective clients including corporate accounts event planners travel agencies and tour operators. This role involves developing strategic sales plans building strong client relationships and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Identify and target potential business opportunities through market research networking and cold calling.
  • Manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct hotel site tours and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals contracts and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Work closely with the marketing and revenue management teams to optimize pricing promotions and brand visibility.
  • Attend trade shows industry events and networking opportunities to represent the hotel.
  • Maintain accurate sales records forecasts and activity reports.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of client events and stays.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust tactics as needed.
    Essential skills:
  • Strategic sales planning and execution:Set goals identify target markets and develop actionable plans to reach revenue objectives.
  • Relationship building and client management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts.
  • Negotiation and contractual acumen:Effectively negotiate terms prices and contracts to ensure profitable relationships.
  • Revenue management expertise:Understand pricing strategies forecast demand and optimize inventory to maximize profitability.
  • Leadership and team empowerment:Inspire and guide the sales team towards achieving collective goals.
  • Communication skills:Effectively interact with clients team members and other departments.
  • Analytical skills:Interpret market data sales reports and performance metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Marketing and promotional expertise:Create and implement marketing campaigns promotional strategies and brand positioning efforts.
