Job Description: Acquisition Management Support III
The Acquisition Management Support III provides senior-level acquisition management expertise in support of the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC). This position requires extensive knowledge of acquisition processes program management and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations to support complex acquisition programs and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acquisition management support services across JTNC Directorates ensuring cost schedule and performance efficiencies. - Assist in the development review and implementation of Acquisition Strategies Program Objective Memoranda (POM) and acquisition-related documentation. - Support acquisition documentation planning including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) Statements of Work (SOWs) Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and program management briefs in compliance with DoD 5000 series directives. - Perform acquisition document review support providing expert guidance on acquisition policies and procedures. - Assist with acquisition strategy formulation and presentation to relevant acquisition program offices. - Provide support in identifying analyzing and mitigating acquisition-related risks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with DoD acquisition policies standards and mission objectives. - Develop and maintain acquisition tools methods and processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field such as Business Administration Finance Economics or Acquisition Management (Masters preferred). Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in acquisition management support preferably with ACAT I/II or ACAT II/IV programs. Skills and Knowledge: - Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes policies and program management methodologies. - Proven ability to lead and support cross-functional teams in a government acquisition environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint). - Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience preparing executive-level reports and briefs. - Knowledge of Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
