Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams which build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Subject Matter Expert (Wave Soldering & PCBA) located in Guadalajara North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager the Subject Matter Expert (Wave Soldering & PCBA) will be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost quality and delivery improvements to support a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop and implement process improvements for PTH manufacturing.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct experiments and gather data to support process optimizations.
  • Train and mentor staff on PTH manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
  • Document and maintain records of process parameters and changes.
  • High-level participation in daily production activities and effective problem-solving on daily issues.
  • Prepare justification purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
  • Oversee the production of new process equipment.
  • Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).

The experience were looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS in engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in PCB manufacturing specifically with PTH processes and wave soldering.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of plating and chemical processes used in PCB manufacturing.
  • Experience collaborating with clients and CFT.
  • People Management.
  • Availability to travel.
