Job Description
At GieseckeDevrient Mobile Security we lead the way in delivering high-security IT solutions that support critical operations worldwide. Our environment is anything but ordinary we operate state-of-the-art highly secure large and complex IT infrastructures in enterprise datacenters. The solutions we provide involve the provisioning and operation of these infrastructures at the highest levels of security and performance. As part of our interdisciplinary and international team you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders including business units security experts and technology partners. Your task
Contribute implement and maintain automation processes usingAutomation Platforms
Administer and optimize Red Hat Linux Systems including Red Hat Satellite
Manage and ensure data backups with CommVault
Monitor maintain and optimize the infrastructure in the enterprise datacenter
Analyze and resolve issues in the areas of server storage and backup systems
Contribute to the continuous development of our IT architecture
Create and maintain documentation and conduct training sessions for internal teams
Your qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of Ansible AWX and automation processes
- Experience in Linux System Administration (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
- Good knowledge of Red Hat Satellite
- Willingness to perform on-call-duty shifts outside regular office hours on a regular basis
- Experience in backup administration using CommVault
- Experience in operating enterprise datacenters and high-availability solutions
- Knowledge of network administration and security concepts is a plus
- Structured and independent working style
- Team spirit as well as a high level of problem-solving and service orientation
