Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our Parts Department team. The Parts Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of automotive parts to our wholesale and retail customers while providing excellent customer service and representing the dealership in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers service shops and other locations.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
Assist in pulling loading and unloading parts orders.
Maintain delivery logs invoices and receipts as required.
Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for cleanliness fuel and basic maintenance needs.
Provide courteous and professional service to customers during deliveries.
Assist in the Parts Department when not on deliveries including stocking organizing inventory and other duties as assigned.
Follow all safety policies traffic laws and dealership procedures.
Qualifications
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle physical demands of loading/unloading.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with the local area and ability to use GPS/navigation systems.
Previous delivery or warehouse experience a plus but not required.
