Job Description

RDC Operations Lead

Role Summary:

The RDC OperationsLeadwill be responsible for the shipping and receiving functions within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with a focus on safety and customer service. The RDC Operations Lead will lead and influence the day-to-day warehouse operations display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust diversity and inclusion within the RDC team including Hubbers contractors and 3PL operators.

Role Specifics:

Serve as the primary point of contact at the RDC for all operational inquiries issues and concerns

Oversees and coordinaties the day-to-day operations of the RDC including:

scheduling and assigning work to Hubbers contractors and/or 3PL operators

monitoring progress of daily workload and

ensures work is completed safely efficiently and effectively.

Refines existing processes and procedures to increase their effectiveness and efficiency while enhancing the RDCs internal capacity

Ensures that operational activities remain on-time and within budget

Monitors KPIs and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement

Collaborates with Ops teams other RDCs contractors and 3PL operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Addresses customer complaints to resolution or escalates (TLCs and Customers) to the appropriate level in a professional and timely manner

Identifies and resolves any operational bottlenecks

Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Experience:

5 years of applicable work experiences with a heavy focus on operations and warehouse management

Supervisor or management experience required

Experience with KPI management

BS/BA in Logistics Business administration or related field preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated people skills including influencing skills active listening and the ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups

Process improvement experience

Strong planning and organizational skills including the ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and individuals and to adapt to unforeseen and unexpected requests or changes in priorities required.

Ability to collaborate with business leaders and peers across the organization to anticipate identify recommend and implement creative operational and customer service solutions.

Proven track record of process improvement and operational excellence

Strong leadership and team-building skills

Excellent communication problem-solving and decision-making skills

Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail

Hourly Range: $34.90 - $43.63
