Within AXIS OS Release Management we drive quality and innovation throughout the AXIS OS lifecycle ensuring high standards for all stakeholders. We lead and improve ways of working striving to become better and more efficient every day in how we do things and how the customers perceive AXIS OS.
Our responsibilities include release planning and execution developing and monitoring quality metrics managing integrations and driving improvements in workflows focusing on efficiency collaboration and alignment. We are passionate about ensuring high quality and enabling seamless collaboration and code integration among our nearly 1000 engineers. By embracing fast feedback loops and data-driven decisions we continuously improve and communicate to achieve the best results. As a team we collaborate closely share knowledge and foster an open and honest environment where we support each other and ensure we have fun along the way.

What youll do here as an engineering manager
Your main tasks will be:
Embrace the leadership of AXIS OS Lifecycle Management in close cooperation with the Product Management organization. You will work strategically within the area ensuring the development of robust and long-lasting software and driving continuous improvement to align with company goals.
Ensure that DevOps is a natural and integral part of our workflow. This includes fostering a culture of collaboration implementing best practices and optimizing our tools and processes. By staying informed about industry trends and promoting a DevOps mindset you will lead initiatives that keep our capabilities at the forefront.
Be the orchestrator across our 60 R&D teams bringing together their expertise to shape and deliver our state-of-the-art software
Lead inspire and grow a team of skilled project managers and engineers.
Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring your team has the right competencies to meet both current and future challenges.
Manage standard leadership responsibilities such as development talks salary setting budgeting recruitment and team growth.
Who are you
You are a driven person with a curious and humble have a strong interest in developing and challenging yourself as a leader and thereby a passion for coaching & supporting individuals in their personal development. We believe that you have experience in engineering management and you are confident in yourself as a leader. Your educational background is typically M Sc Computer Science or similar. You have fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.
