Licenses / Certifications / Registrations Currently credentialed as an Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or as a Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) or as a Registered Nerve Conduction Studies Technologist (.T.) by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists or other appropriate credential as required to maintain program certification by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) depending on location required.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $26.55 - $43.10 / hourly

Job Description:
General Responsibilities To supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff engaged in performing neurodiagnostic testing and monitoring. To provide quality assessment and assurance to ensure accurate interpretation of tests performed and for program advancement. To assign work activities and serve as a technical resource. To perform neurodiagnostic testing and monitoring as needed. Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all aspects of interviewing training and scheduling of technologists to meet patient and program needs. Provides direction to the technologists for the prioritization of testing to ensure patient safety. Assists in establishing policies and procedures according to established standards of practice. Serves as a technical resource for staff. Trains staff. Addresses technical issues as they arise.
2. Oversees patient care in area(s) of responsibility. Coordinates the provision of services; ensures testing quality. Addresses issues regarding quality of patient care.
3. Promotes continuous quality improvement. Ensures compliance with all applicable internal and external regulatory standards.
4. Ensures accuracy of information entered in IMPACT and other information systems. Follows all applicable departmental and institutional policies and procedures related to billing.
5. Maintains adequate supplies and inventory of neurodiagnostic/EEG equipment and capital equipment for therapeutic procedures. Ensures the functionality of neurodiagnostic/EEG equipment.
6. Delivers efficient testing services to inpatient and ambulatory patients. Performs neurodiagnostic testing and monitoring according to established protocol under minimal supervision. Ensures the delivery of safe patient care and maintains a clean operational and safe environment.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
