Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lean Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for university students who are pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Mechanical and are expected to graduate in 2026. The intern will support our continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lean Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for university students who are pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Mechanical and are expected to graduate in 2026. The intern will support our continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Support the development and implementation of lean tools and techniques such as Standard Work 5S and Kaizen etc.
  • Assist in the identification and analysis of process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive lean projects and initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of lean activities.
  • Participate in problem-solving sessions and root cause analysis.
  • Document and present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Support the training and education of employees on lean principles and practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Industrial Engineering Mechanical or a related field.
  • Expected graduation year: 2026.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing environment.
