Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Real Estate Economics or related field: MBA/MSRE a plus but not required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions underwriting capital markets private equity or investment banking
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling and real estate underwriting skills; advanced Excel required Argus preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing equity raise materials (OM pitch decks IC memos).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort engaging institutional and family office investors.
  • Relationship-driven entrepreneurial and eager to grow into a leadership role
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growing beyond a pure analyst role into capital markets responsibilities.

Responsibilities

What youll be doing:

  • Create and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions and development projects.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses scenario testing and return optimizations.
  • Support investment committee and investor-facing presentations with clear data-driven insights.
  • Benchmark market activity and investor return expectations to inform capital raising strategy
  • Translate underwriting into investor-ready materials including waterfall analyses and capital stack scenarios
  • Track and analyze debt market conditions to inform optimal leverage strategies
  • Assist in capital markets activities including equity raises and debt sourcing.
  • Support outreach and relationship-building with institutional investors family offices and private equity partners
  • Collaborate with the acquisitions and development teams to evaluate deals from a capital partner perspective
  • Serve as a critical link between underwriting deal execution and investor engagement.
