None/Not RequiredWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. You will focus on collaborating closely with design and supporting design for manufacturing (DFM) efforts encompassing process development work instruction creation lean manufacturing and tooling development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Lead the introduction of new products from prototype design to full-scale production for medium to large scope programs.
Influence integrated project teams.
Design assembly tooling and fixtures using CAD software.
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
Create and maintain comprehensive work instructions and process documentation.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct process flow and capacity analyses to ensure optimal production rates.
Develop process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) and measurement system analysis (MSA).
Collaborate with design engineering to refine product designs for manufacturability.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to design process and supplier quality.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree 9 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. CREO).
3 years of experience leading project teams.
4 years of experience applying lean manufacturing principles and practices.
4 years of experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and data analysis tools.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
Experience with electronics.
Experience with clean room fabrication processes
Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and AS9145 methodologies.
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques and materials.
Business and financial acumen.
Six Sigma certification.
Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.
