About the Team
Alfred Health Allied Health Education team comprises 4 staff across 2.2 EFT and supports our staff to learn and grow throughout their careers so that they feel competent and capable in their roles. The team is governed by the Chief Allied Health Officer and the Allied Health Directorate. The Allied Health Directorate comprises predominantly Allied Health Therapy professionals.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading operational planning and delivery of the Allied Health education workplan in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders. The primary role of the position is to engage Allied Health staff and students in clinical education activities specifically undergraduate students graduates new and existing staff and Allied Health Assistants. The role will create opportunities for interprofessional learning and collaborate extensively explore innovative educational practices and identify opportunities for quality improvement activities to ensure clinical practice is enhanced for optimal patient care.
