Job Overview
As Manager Accounting & Consolidations you will oversee accounting operations manage a small team and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will lead month-end close processes global consolidations and financial analysis to provide actionable insights for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Review journal entries and reconciliations following up for clarity or additional information as needed.
- Oversee month-end close processes including intercompany transactions foreign currency translation remeasurements and global chart of accounts maintenance.
- Participate in global consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
- Lead financial analysis to assess business performance and provide insights.
- Manage and develop team members: hiring coaching goal-setting and performance reviews.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive regional and global standardization.
- Act as backup support for team members as needed.
- Participate in year-end audits.
- Ensure accounting policies and processes are documented updated and consistently applied.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners providing guidance training and support.
- Support cross-functional projects and ad-hoc special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6 8 years of relevant accounting experience including at least 3 years in consolidation.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Creative problem solver with strategic thinking and concise communication skills.
