Position: LPN LTC
Location: Penn Yan NY 14527
Assignment Length: 26 Weeks
Pay rate: $42/hr
Hrs/Day: 8
Shift: Multiple shifts available/Open to discuss
Traveller Pay Breakdown:
Hourly Rate: $42 $15.50 taxable $26.50 non-taxable/Stipend
Weekly Gross: $1680 $620 taxable $1060 non-taxable/Stipend

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 26-Week Contract Full Time (40 Hours)
Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for a rewarding contract nursing opportunity We are hiring dedicated practical nurses to join our team for a 26-week contract working full time (40 hours per week) through the holiday season. Why This LPN Contract Role
As an LPN youll be part of a supportive care team providing essential nursing services to residents and patients. You will play a key role in day-to-day patient care collaborating with registered nurses physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure residents receive compassionate and high-quality treatment.
Requirements for LPN Candidates:
- Recent LTC experience needed.
- Active New York State LPN license (required)
- BLS certification (AHA accepted)
- Minimum 2 year of LPN experience in a clinical or long-term care setting
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric populations
LPN Responsibilities:
- Perform direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Collect and document patient data related to physical and psychosocial health.
- Assist in creating individualized care plans that are culturally sensitive and age-appropriate.
- Monitor resident outcomes and recommend updates to care plans when needed.
- Provide support to residents and families ensuring a positive care experience.
- Promote a safe and healthy environment for both patients and staff members.
- Stay current with nursing practices and participate in in-service training sessions.
- Mentor and support new staff as part of the care team.
