Unit Information: Ultrasound Location: HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe Address: 504 Medical Center Blvd Conroe TX Floor: Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): This is a Level II Trauma center with a 30 bed ED 36 bed ICU/CCU and Level III Nicu Number of Beds - Number of Staff Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 o Night Shift - 1 Patient Ratios Type of equipment GE EMR Meditech PACs - McKesson Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. RDMS RDMS Abdomen certification RDMS OB/Gyn Certification RDMS - RVT Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound services on all patient populations: inpatient outpatient neonate to geriatric. Best personality Fit: Customer focused team-oriented able to multi-task efficient self-directed REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: RDMS (Ob/Gyn) (Abd) RVT BLS (American Heart) Floating Area(s): May be assigned to one of the outpatient imaging centers. 508 Imaging: Located on the 1st floor of the hospital provides ultrasound by appointment with the occasional stat add-on to outpatients of all ages. The unit has similar GE equipment and operates under the same dept protocols and procedures. Hours at this location are Mon Thurs 8am 6:30pm. Lake Area Imaging & Diagnostics: This outpatient Imaging center is located approximately 12 miles off campus at 12057 Hwy 105W. Montgomery TX. Ultrasounds are offered by appointment from the hours of 8am 4:30pm Monday Friday. This location also uses GE equipment and follows the same department protocols and procedures under the umbrella of the main Ultrasound department. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Hunter Green Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On call(if any) None * May be asked to temporarily work additional/alternate shift(s) as necessary during periods of critical staffing natural disaster PTO etc. as necessary to maintain services for the community.
