Position: Electrical Audio Systems Engineer

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic hands-on analog/audio electrical engineer in the Bay this role you will work with the team responsible for the definition architecture design implementation and integration of the audio subsystem in consumer electronics hardware products.

  • You will qualify for best-in-class audio silicon and develop proof of concepts and prototypes support system board schematic and layout prototype bring up and debugging production manufacturing and test support hardware debugging functional and performance verification SW/FW verification and signal characterization.

  • You will support work on the schematic and assist the PCB layout engineer in routing the circuits.

  • Its a benefit if youre familiar with the audio design of portable low to mid-power products but you should have a track record of building consumer electronics at high volume.

Basic qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Acoustics or equivalent field

  • 510 years of experience as an audio/analog electrical systems engineer

  • Experience with Schematic design PCB design and associated SW tools

  • Knowledge of SW drivers DSP preferred

  • Knowledge in prototyping and debugging circuits and products in a lab

  • Extensive analog and mixed signal circuit design experience

  • Experience delivering consumer products

  • Preferred experience in sigma-delta modulators or Class D speaker amplifiers

  • Strong documentation and writing skills
