Position: Business Analyst Financial Systems
Location: Raleigh NC (27601)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in financial systems and business process documentation. This role involves partnering with finance program and IT teams to ensure accurate financial data management and reporting. The ideal candidate will excel in facilitating discussions documenting requirements and building consensus in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions for business and technical needs.
- Analyze K 12 financial data including budgets expenditures and grants.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and system specifications.
- Support the design testing and implementation of financial data systems.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation and user guides.
Required Skills:
- 5 years as a Business Analyst preferably in financial systems or education.
- Strong understanding of financial data accounting principles and budgets.
- Proficient in SQL Excel and financial data analysis tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial management systems.
- Exceptional documentation and stakeholder management skills.
