Description
Responsibilities
Conduct financial and commercial due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and transaction structuring.
Perform market and industry research to identify attractive sectors and investment opportunities.
Prepare investment memoranda presentations and reports for internal committees and stakeholders.
Assist in structuring negotiating and executing transactions.
Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives post-investment.
Maintain relationships with management teams advisors financiers and other stakeholders.
Provide strategic and analytical support to senior investment professionals.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business or related field (Honours or postgraduate preferred).
Professional qualifications (CA(SA) CFA or equivalent) advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years experience in:
Private Capital / Private Equity
Leveraged Finance / Debt Advisory
Transaction Services / Corporate Finance / MandA
Strong understanding of financial statements valuation techniques and capital structures.
Proven deal execution experience with exposure to due diligence structuring and negotiations.
