Duties & Responsibilities
Join Our Clients Team as a Service Engineer (Hydropower Industry)
Location: Gauteng
Industry: Renewable Energy / Hydropower
Are you a skilled Service Engineer with a passion for renewable energy and hydropower technology We are seeking a self-sufficient hands-on professional to join our team and play a key role in the installation maintenance and technical support of our Hydroelectric Power Plants across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical service support and solutions to customers suppliers and internal teams.
Perform on-site assessments diagnostics preventative maintenance repairs and upgrades on hydro plant machinery.
Support product and process development new product introductions and application design.
Collaborate with sales project management and customers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Identify new opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
Manage projects and contribute to cross-functional company initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering.
5 years experience with hydro plant machinery.
Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Proven ability to manage deliverables and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Ideal Requirements
Masters degree or MBA (advantageous).
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing / Quality Assurance.
Exposure to manufacturing commissioning and field service.
Knowledge of on-site machining.
Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
