As a Senior Manager of Program Management in Capital Ones Bank Tech Organization youll work on the Bank Modernization initiative driving innovation optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling the banks future as we reimagine our Consumer Bank through our new core banking platform.
This role will manage the Bank Modernization Programs governance forums agendas action item tracking program reporting and drive continuous process improvements across the Program Management Office.

General Responsibilities:
Work on large scale projects across the technology organization
Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed
Plan design manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility design planning and implementation.
Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to understand processes and drive results
Identify ways to improve and streamline business process
Exhibit a proven track record of project management bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage inform and influence outcomes
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
At least 5 Years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree
6 years of Project Management experience
3 years of Project Management experience within the Technology industry
2 years of Jira experience
2years of Confluence experience
PMP Lean Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Work experience achieving results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $170800 - $194900 for Sr Manager Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
