Job Description

Simulmedia is seeking a strategic and execution-driven digital transformation leader to help us scale and modernize the operational backbone of PlayerWON our pioneering ad platform for free-to-play games. PlayerWON enables rewarded video advertising inside premium PC and console titles and were now ready to transform our internal tooling partner onboarding flows and campaign operations to support our next phase of growth.

This individual will drive the vision strategy and implementation roadmap for transforming our media buying and operational processes related to PlayerWON partnering closely with leaders across Gaming Partnerships AdOps Product Engineering and Client Success.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & Product Ownership
Lead the overall strategy and product vision for digitizing PlayerWONs media operations and campaign execution processes.

Translate gaming partner needs and advertiser goals into scalable tech-enabled workflows.

Own and continuously evolve the digital roadmap supporting PlayerWONs supply and demand pipelines.

Transformation Roadmap
Define a multi-phase transformation roadmap prioritizing impact areas like campaign planning trafficking creative delivery and reporting for gaming integrations.


Partner with Product and Engineering to build out PlayerWONs operational stack from internal tools to partner-facing platforms.


Needs Discovery & Problem Definition
Conduct deep discovery across internal teams (Gaming Ops Ad Sales Engineering Client Success) and external partners (game publishers SSPs networks).

Identify key pain points and inefficiencies across campaign setup measurement and reporting in gaming environments.


Technology Scouting & Deployment

Identify and recommend new technologies (e.g. low-code platforms APIs internal dashboards) to streamline PlayerWON workflows.

Evaluate build vs. buy tradeoffs across PlayerWONs operational stack.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Change Leadership

Act as the transformation glue between product operations engineering and commercial teams.

Drive adoption of new digital tools with clear onboarding documentation and change management plans tailored for game developers and internal stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

Represent transformation priorities across the executive team ensuring alignment with PlayerWONs growth and monetization goals.

Present actionable plans and progress to senior leadership with clarity and impact.

Performance Measurement

Define KPIs to track operational efficiency speed-to-launch and campaign ROI across PlayerWON media buys.

Build feedback loops to continuously improve digital products and workflows based on usage data and partner feedback.

Required Skills & Background:

Deep understanding of the gaming industry especially F2P monetization models and in-game advertising.

Experience scaling digital or operational platforms at the intersection of games and media.

Proven success in leading digital transformation within cross-functional orgs (ops product engineering).

Exceptional skills in workflow design systems thinking and stakeholder influence.

Familiarity with game publisher integrations ad delivery (e.g. VAST tags SDKs) and campaign tracking.

Strong working knowledge of emerging tech process automation and internal product development.

Experience managing platform or B2B product roadmaps that align with commercial goals.

Comfortable leading change influencing without authority and presenting to C-suite execs.


Bonus Points For:

Background in ad tech or martech especially involving CTV programmatic or mobile performance media.

Experience working with low-code/no-code tools or RPA to accelerate ops efficiency.

Certifications like PMP Agile or ITIL.

Hands-on experience with tools like Jira Airtable Salesforce HubSpot Postman or Looker.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent work/military experience.

10 years of relevant experience leading digital transformation product development or ops strategy in media or gaming.

Strong communication skills written verbal and visual and comfort working with U.S.-based teams remotely or hybrid.
