Process Engineer Location: Oldham Full-Time Permanent Competitive Salary Benefits
Im currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the semiconductor manufacturing industry who is looking to bring a Process Engineer into their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background in silicon wafer fabrication or similar cleanroom-based manufacturing looking to work on innovative technologies in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and improving process performance driving quality and supporting the transfer of new technologies into production.
Key Responsibilities for the Process Engineer job:
Develop sustain and optimise wafer fabrication processes
Improve process capability yield and quality using techniques like SPC DOE and 6 Sigma
Create and maintain documentation and manufacturing procedures
Support NPI and the transition of new processes into high-volume production
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement
Provide technical input on metrology tools equipment upgrades and fault diagnostics
Skill & Experience required for the Process Engineer job:
Degree-qualified in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline
Previous experience as a Process Engineer or Technician within semiconductor or precision manufacturing
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset
Proficient in Excel/data analysis and comfortable working with technical documentation
Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
