We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support the reliability safety and performance of plant control and instrumentation systems. This role is instrumental in maintaining seamless plant operations through sound technical leadership hands-on problem solving and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a subject matter expert for instrumentation and control (I&C) design installation and integration.
Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with engineering specifications safety requirements and global standards.
Develop and implement design solutions for facility upgrades system enhancements and process modifications.
Provide troubleshooting support to commissioning and operations teams diagnosing and resolving control system challenges.
Lead and participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and other quality assurance processes.
Review and approve material selections and substitutions for I&C installations including cabling fittings and tubing.
Evaluate and authorize temporary modifications to equipment and control systems.
Contribute technical insights for site engineering reports and project progress reviews.
Associates degree in a technical discipline required; Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronics Chemical or Computer Engineering strongly preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in instrumentation and control engineering within industrial facilities.
Strong background in:
Plant Control and Safety Systems (DCS SIS F&G PLC platforms such as Emerson Honeywell Yokogawa Siemens Allen Bradley HIMA etc.)
Operational Technology & Networks (fiber optics wiring architecture IT/OT integration for security CCTV access control and public address systems).
Field Instrumentation for critical process measurements (pressure flow level temperature analyzers chromatographs metering systems and associated communication protocols).
Control & Shutdown Valves (pneumatic electric and hydraulic actuation).
Packaged equipment with integrated instrumentation and automation systems.
LNG or cryogenic process experience highly advantageous.
