Senior Content Producer Phoenix Suns

Job Summary:

Player 15 Group includes several companies and many collaborative departments that support the Phoenix Suns Phoenix Mercury and PHX Arena.

Would you like to win championships and create sustained success Player 15 Group is looking for individuals who are committed to pursuing excellence win championships create sustained success and desire to play a role in creating memorable experiences.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Content Producer to lead our capture and produce content for our Phoenix Suns social & digital channels. This role will be pivotal in leading daily coverage of our team players fans and the NBA as a whole. The ideal applicant must have strong experience in both shooting and editing production leadership experience and a problem-solving mentality. This role includes a significant amount of travel during the NBA season and has non-traditional hours with games practices ect.

What You Will Do:
  • Document the team and players journey throughout the season showcasing both on-court and off-court experiences
  • Produce practice game and travel videos for social media to showcase team highlights and player stories.
  • Be a key video leader in a collaborative social team monitoring social media trends and audience preferences to brainstorm new types of content creation
  • Develop innovative social-first videos that tell unique stories about players coaches and the community enhancing fan connection and engagement in new ways.
What We Need From Our Content Producer:
  • Proven experience in social-first video production and content creation preferably in basketball but open to other
  • Experience in all aspects of video production filming lighting and
  • Strong storytelling skills with an ability to craft compelling narratives from raw
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with players and team staff.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to cover both home and away games.
  • Experience with leading creative ideation production planning and mentoring other videographers.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented
Experience/ Education Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 4-6 years of video production Experience in sports is required.
  • Advanced skills with Premiere editing suite and other editing-specific
