BPS Office Multilingual and Multicultural Education (OMME) is seeking to stipend RETELL instructors for the educator course and RETELL instruction for the administrator course. The RETELL instructor must have a commitment to address the persistent gap in academic proficiency experienced by multilingual students. At the heart of this initiative are training and licensure requirements for the Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement which core academic and career vocational teachers of multilinguals and principals/assistant principals and supervisors/directors who supervise or evaluate such teachers must obtain.
OMME seeks instructors for both SEI Endorsement Teacher and SEI Administrator courses during SY25-26. Courses may be taught remotely via zoom or be held on-site at a BPS school.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Rethinking Equity in the Teaching of English Language Learners (RETELL) instructor is responsible for creating a Zoom link for the course teaching the DESE SEI Endorsement course taking attendance and grading all assignments in the LMS.

Required Qualifications:
TERMS: Stipend ($5575 Teacher course/ $2000 Admin course)
