The opportunity:
- As a Tax Manager youll be part of a high-performing team that delivers specialist tax services with integrity courage and excellence. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impactboth for our clients and your career.
Day to day you will:
- Lead client engagements ensuring accuracy compliance and timely delivery of tax solutions.
- Stay ahead of legislative changes case law and Inland Revenue rulings to identify strategic tax planning opportunities.
- Provide mentorship and performance development for junior team members fostering a culture of growth and wellbeing.
- Build and manage trusted client relationships offering commercially sound advice across a range of industries.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and represent KPMG in the market to create new opportunities.
- Apply your analytical skills to solve complex tax challenges including those involving cross-border transactions and pricing strategies.
What youll bring to our team:
- Proven experience managing tax engagements and delivering high-quality client service.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand tax legislation and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership in coaching and developing junior staff.
- Experience or exposure to Transfer Pricing principles and their application in advisory contexts is advantageous.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
