Hiring: Application Developer Malaysia (Client Location) New Era Technology

Client Location: KL Malaysia

Employment: Contract 16months

About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Application Developer to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their KL office.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Application Developer you will be responsible for designing building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required along with providing solutions to work-related problems.
Expert proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 is required.
Beginner proficiency in Cross Border Payments is recommended.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
Implement best practices in coding and application design to enhance performance and maintainability.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes.
Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on application functionalities and features.

AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language)

Qualification & Experience:

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication) Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years experience in AS400 and Cobol programming

Preferred Candidate:

Nationality: Malaysians preferred. Open for all nationalities who are willing to work onsite in Malaysia
Availability: Candidates who can join max in 30-60 days.
