The Bureau of Health Preparedness (BHP) is one of Ohio Department of Healths core public health responsibilities. BHP provides direction support and coordination in preventing preparing for and responding to events that threaten the publics health. BHP maintains an all hazards approach in response to natural and man-made disasters acts of bioterrorism infectious disease outbreaks and other emergencies that impact the health of the public.
BHP is seeking one (1) candidate to fill our vacant Financial Program Manager role. This position will manage and coordinate budget and financial program for the Bureau of Health Preparedness and formulate and implement program policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL TRANSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS:
Official educational transcripts are required for all post-high school educational accomplishments coursework or degrees claimed on the application. Applicants will be required to submit an official transcript prior to receiving a formal offer of employment. Failure to provide transcripts within five (5) working days of being requested will cause the applicant to be eliminated from further consideration.
Please note that a transcript is considered official only if it is an original copy from the educational institution and includes an institutional watermark ink stamp or embossed stamp. Transcripts printed from the institutions website will not be accepted. ODH reserves the right to assess the academic credibility of an educational entitys award of a putative degree.
ALL ANSWERS TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUPPORTED BY THE WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PROVIDED ON YOUR CIVIL SERVICE APPLICATION.
Unless required by legislation the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 14 Step 1 of the Exempt Pay Range Schedule ($39.22 per hour) with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($41.46) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
