Job Summary

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time position expected to work (4 hours / day x 2 days / week).


Locations: Toledo OH



Job Description:

Apply your expertise to prepare aircrew for the physical demands of modern combat aviation. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) you will play a key role in reducing injury risk and enhancing operational performance by creating individualized comprehensive strength and conditioning programs that integrate prehabilitation performance centered training and recovery. The CSCS provides instructional support data collection and assists with reconditioning after aircrew injury.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver job-specific strength and conditioning programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support rehabilitation and return-to-fly efforts.
  • Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Maintain data integrity and contribute to research.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Performance Exercise Science Kinesiology or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in S&C for college/pro sport tactical aerospace or similar man-machine high performance environments.
  • NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC certification
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation). Please visit the following link for more information: citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance and work in this position.
