Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
The purpose of the Targeted Support team is to provide additional support to families as they navigate the crisis accommodation environment and work with the child safety concerns to maximise the ability of the family to remain together and or if risk is too high to navigate the involvement of child safety for the safety and wellbeing of children.
Micah Projects aim is to work within a 2 Generational Approach by working with the parents to support the needs of the children according to age needs and context.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Family Support & Advocacy Worker to provide intensive outreach support to families and their children currently in motels and or transitioning to housing.
Two employment opportunities 1x full-time and 1x part-time at Level 5 of the SCHADS Award.
