Dynamic Opportunity As an Janitorial Maintenance Worker working 37.5 hours per week the Maintenance/Janitorial Worker is involved in assisting in the maintenance of Guidance Center properties and offices.
The Guidance Center is a primary mental health support agency providing compassionate professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County NJ area. For more than 60 years our non-profit organization of professionals doctors nurses therapists and support staff has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.
What does this position look like
The Janitorial Maintenance Worker assists the Maintenance Staff in fulfilling work order requests for minor repairs on site provides delivery to satellite locations and assists in the maintenance of the organizations fleet. This individual may be involved in working with vendors onsite and in the community. This position also assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the interior buildings at 2038 Carmel Road to include offices.
What you need to be considered
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some knowledge and experience of grounds keeping.
- Some knowledge and experience with handyman type tasks.
- Experience with janitorial tools/equipment such as a floor buffer knowledge of properly cleaning carpets tile floors walls etc.
- Experience with riding and manual lawn mowers.
- Valid drivers license meeting Agency standards.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.

Competitive Rate $16 per hour- 37.5 hour work week
Schedule 10:00am to 6:00PM Monday to Friday
